I will stamp all over 'serious combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.

Former two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the novice remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making massive paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
